yes..she is guilty of greed and stupidity….and stealing govt money…but sharples has a point…
many, many, middle-class white people have done far worse than huata..and received far less censure…..
it did seem particularly harsh, (except to the vengeful), to have not continued huatas’ bail untill sentencing…once again, middle-class whites, who have ripped off far more than huata did,( and usually from punters, who are gutted..this was govt money..i know..i know..) are invariably given this time to ‘organise their affairs’…
so..why not for huata..esp to enable her to give help to her children..and to try to prepare them for her incarceration….
