“..Pioneering New Zealand rock musician Chris Knox is in hospital after suffering a stoke on Thursday.

Knox, one of the founders of iconic independent music label Flying Nun, was in Auckland Hospital, Radio New Zealand reported.

His best known songs include the hit Not Given Lightly.

Knox was also a writer and cartoonist..”

(chris did the whoar logo for me..and we first met when we both dated these two ‘chicks’..who lived in the same house..

..that was in toy love days..and we met intermittantly over the years..(at bfm..sometimes..)

he is a good man..i hope he gets well soon..

..and i have been thinking of him/barbara..and sending best wishes..

..since i heard this disturbing news earlier on..

..and hey..!..chris in his/the the clean incarnation..has to be about my favourite kiwi band..

..the music/songs are as fresh as when first minted..

..there are going to be legions of people sending you best wishes/their love ..chris..
