“..When many people think of massage, they think of guilty pleasure – something they might be willing to splurge on only occasionally, perhaps on vacation.
And for themselves – not the family pet…”
(disclaimer:..i give both our dogs massages most days..the older one comes and gives me a nudge if i forget…she has been getting them for about 14 yrs now…and is totally addicted..
..i work their knecks/spines..and down around their shoulderblades…gently squeezing and kneading..
..up and down a few times..and it only takes a few minutes..
..they both love it..and have a mild bliss-out during and after..
..i don’t do the cat..he would probably take my hand off if i tried..he is quite toey at times..the cat..
..i wd also note that when i get the chance i will give other dogs a tweak…
..in some of them i can almost feel the lumps of built-up stress..
..and i wd also note that our 14 yr old looks/moves/runs like a five year old..
..i put that down partly to the daily massage…and the vegan diet she has lived on these last 14 yrs..
..she is a poster-dog for both..)
